Diana Williams-Kirklin is a poet and author whose work captures the quiet ache and fierce beauty of everyday life. With a voice that is both intimate and unflinching, she writes into the spaces we often leave unspoken—love that lingers, memories that bruise and heal, resilience forged in ordinary moments. Her poetry does not rush the reader; it asks them to pause, lean closer, and feel deeply, one deliberate line at a time.
A Houston native, Diana draws inspiration from lived experience, emotional truth, and the small details that carry disproportionate weight—the glance that says everything, the silence that follows loss, the strength found in simply continuing. Her work honors vulnerability without romanticizing it, offering language for grief, hope, endurance, and becoming.
When she isn’t writing, Diana is rooted in family, reflection, and the rhythms of real life—observing, listening, and collecting moments that later find their way onto the page. Her poetry is a reminder that tenderness is not weakness, that survival can be beautiful, and that our stories—when told honestly—have the power to make others feel less alone.

After years of building her catering business from the ground up, I’naya James Carter swore she’d never lose herself in love again. But when a bad day leads to a chance encounter with Michael Francis Kelly, a weary actor searching for something real, their worlds collide in ways neither saw coming. As friendship blurs into something deeper, old wounds reopen.
Her past — embodied by Ethan Sykes, the man she once trusted — comes crashing back, threatening to destroy everything she’s built. Between loyalty, desire, and the weight of secrets, I’naya must decide what she truly wants. Because love isn’t about settling. It’s about risking everything — and finally choosing yourself.

She was older. Guarded. Carrying more than her heart could hold. He was younger. Certain. Steady in ways that unsettled her. Charlotte Lyle never intended to build a life with Trenton Hale — a man six years her junior who stepped into her world during its most fragile moment. But Lex didn’t flinch. Didn’t waver. Didn’t leave.
Through years of co-parenting, quiet devotion, and boundaries drawn too carefully, Lex proves that maturity isn’t measured in age — it’s measured in presence. As attraction simmers and denial frays, Charlie must decide whether love is something to fear… or something worth choosing. A slow-burn romance about family, restraint, and the undeniable pull of a man who refuses to walk away.
Loved this story!! Quick, easy read but with all the heart and emotion of a good love story. There’s a little action, not too much spice, and very clean language.
If you're looking for a book that you can't put down, this is it. I read almost the entire thing in one sitting. You are drawn into the intensity and passion between the two main characters.
The chemistry between I’naya and Michael Francis Kelly is palpable, creating moments that are both tender and tension-filled. The story skillfully balances romance with personal growth, while the reemergence of Ethan Sykes adds layers of conflict and suspense.
This book is very well written. It will pull you in and not let go! The characters have great chemistry and it’s so descriptive, you feel as though you are right there living their love story! If you are looking for a love story that feels like real life, then this is the book for you! I highly, highly recommend!!!
The characters were engaging and the story was captivating. This is a book I'm definitely recommending to anyone looking for something new to add to their TBR. It's just a heartwarming story, you won't be sorry.
This book grabbed me from the start with I’naya's no-nonsense attitude she's built her catering empire from scratch and isn't about to let love derail her again. The chance meeting with Michael, the tired actor looking for real connection, feels fresh and believable, turning into a slow-burn friendship that deepens naturally. But when her ex Ethan shows up stirring trouble, the stakes get real, forcing tough choices about trust and self-worth.
Book One introduced you to I’Naya, BB, and Michael. You met them in moments of connection, fracture, and becoming—but their story did not end where the pages stopped. There are consequences still waiting, bonds still shifting, and truths that haven’t been spoken aloud.
The rest of their story arrives in 2026.
