JMarie & Co. Publishing was founded in honor of Janice Marie, whose lifelong love of books inspired a company grounded in the belief that stories have the power to connect, challenge, and endure.

JMarie & Co. is an independent, Black-owned publishing company focused on developing distinctive authors, compelling stories, and lasting literary brands. Through our portfolio of specialized imprints, we publish across genres while maintaining a deliberately selective roster that allows us to provide each project with focused creative and strategic support.

Our approach is intentionally selective: fewer titles, deeper investment, stronger partnerships.

Across our imprints, we champion bold voices and stories with something meaningful to say, particularly those historically overlooked or underestimated by traditional publishing.
